Andrea Girones, B.A. (Hons.) LL.B. M.B.A (Dean’s List)
Andrea is head of the Ottawa, Ontario office , and has extensive trial, appellate, and mediation experience representing injured and disabled clients including children injured at birth.
Her litigation practice includes personal injuries from automobile and other accidents medical malpractice, particularly birth and neonatal injuries, wrongful dismissals, disability, and insurance litigation.
Called to the Ontario Bar in 1995, Andrea is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia Law School and a Masters degree from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto).
Her membership affiliations include the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates Society, the Licensing Executives Society, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, and the County of Carleton Law Association.
She is a frequent contributor to legal publications and often speaks in the areas of medical and intellectual property litigation. Andrea is also a volunteer with the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the United Way.
