Jennifer M. Kelly, B.A. (Hons), LL.B.
Jennifer M. Kelly is the newest associate at Girones Lawyers. Jennifer was called to the Bar in June of 2010, and is a graduate of the Faculty of Law from the University of Ottawa.
Jennifer’s preferred area of practice is personal injury. Jennifer also handles all types of family law matters. Her personal injury cases involve auto, truck, snowmobile and bike accidents, and include slip and fall matters and dog bite cases. Furthermore, Jennifer actively acts for victims of crimes, assisting individuals with applications and hearings before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. Jennifer has appeared in many court rooms and before various administrative tribunals across the province of Ontario.
She previously obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law & Justice, from Laurentian University in 2006. Born and raised in Timmins, Jennifer is a graduate from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Thériault.
Jennifer shares the firm’s spirit of helping members of her community. Jennifer dedicates her time to various charitable organizations such as St. Martin De Porres Community Charities Food Bank and Household Goods, and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Parish. She is also involved in the local mixed fun pitch baseball league as a coach and a player.
She is a member of the Cochrane Law Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
Jennifer is fluent in English and French and serves clients throughout the Province of Ontario.
